Steven A. Urenda is an attorney at Treehouse Law, LLP working with the consumer protection team. Prior to joining Treehouse, Steven was a Senior Associate at a premier law firm in Los Angeles, California, practicing primarily in litigation and administration matters. Steven engaged in extensive litigation in cases involving multimillion dollar disputes, securing favorable outcomes for a multitude of clients. Steven also practiced at a prominent law firm in Upland, California for four years where he managed a team of legal professionals in all aspects of litigation. Steven prides himself on the service aspect of the practice of law and works to ensure that the best result is achieved for each client. Steven now uses his expertise to aggressively advocate for consumers who have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous companies.

At UCLA School of Law, Steven volunteered for various non-profits working to provide underserved and underrepresented communities with access to legal representation. Steven also externed at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, further demonstrating his commitment to using the legal field to advocate for justice.

Prior to entering the legal field, Steven graduated from Cal Poly Pomona, double majoring in Philosophy and Political Science. In 2012, he was awarded Outstanding Philosophy Thesis for his thesis, “Meta-Ethics and Moral Particularism: A Non-Cognitivist Conception of Contributory Reasons.” Steven was also regularly placed on the Dean’s Honor list throughout his tenure at Cal-Poly. When Steven is not working, he enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with his three dogs.
