Biography

Joshua Nassir is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Treehouse Law. From the start of his career, Joshua has dedicated his practice to returning money back into the pockets of consumers. Joshua’s commitment towards consumer advocacy began during his time serving the Honorable Philip S. Gutierrez of the Central District of California, where Joshua was exposed to his first consumer false advertising lawsuit. At the time, the case was different than what Joshua was normally exposed to in Court, as it implicated millions of people across the country, as opposed to the ordinary business or personal dispute.

After graduating from UCLA School of Law, Joshua joined one of the nation’s leading consumer class action law firms and dedicated his practice solely towards challenging false advertising by the nation’s largest companies. During his time at this firm, Joshua litigated consumer class actions against companies including Apple, HP, Folgers, Godiva, Uber, Anheuser-Busch, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, and Emergen-C.

Throughout his career, Josh has returned tens of millions of dollars to the hands of consumers and has caused major changes to the labeling of numerous consumer products sold nationwide. Joshua will continue to ensure that consumers are no longer taken advantage of by misleading advertising, and the ever-growing common shady bait-and-switch practices employed by large businesses.

Prior to his legal career, Joshua graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where he served as a member of the Journal from Environmental Law and Policy and competed in UCLA Law School’s Mock Trial and Moot Court tournaments. During his time in law school, Joshua also volunteered at the El Centro Legal Clinic, where he aided financially disadvantaged individuals with their housing and eviction issues. Joshua also received his Bachelor’s degree from UCLA, where he graduated with honors.
